UK@BIO Open House – Monday 13th June 10am-12pm – Drop-in event but RSVP preferred
DIT is also hosting a UK@BIO Open House to connect UK delegates with other international delegations. This is a drop in event but please email lifescience@trade.gov.uk subject line: BIO Open House if you think you will join, as we would like to share a preview of the UK group with the other international delegations. The venue is a short walk from the convention centre.

DIT has organized a breakfast and speed dating session for UK life sciences companies with Cedars Sinai, a leading not-for-profit hospital in Los Angeles and one of the top ranked hospitals in the US across multiple specialties. Places are limited, contact us to request an invitation

UK Global Innovation Hub presentation  - Tuesday 14th June at 4pm

DIT has partnered with BIA and Scottish Development International on the popular UK@BIO Reception. This business networking reception is invite-only and RSVP is required. The reception is being held outdoors.

Monday 13th June at 5pm India is hosting an on-stand beer and snack event at their Booth 2119. The India delegation organiser has an India Biotech Handbook 2022, and we have something similar for the Taiwan delegation. Email lifescience@trade.gov.uk to request a copy of either document.

Brazilian Startup Day – Wednesday 15th June – RSVP via the link below

This event is being organized by the Brazilian Industry Association of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (Abiquifi) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex Brasil). It will take place on 15th June at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina.

Brazilian Start-up Day will be an innovation breakfast dedicated to share investments opportunities in Brazil, when 5 promising biotech and life sciences Brazilian start-ups will deliver a pitch/presentation. This is also an opportunity for UK companies to learn more about investing in Brazil, or about the market and its potential.

DIT team on the ground during BIO week
Book a meeting with the DIT team via the BIO One-To-One partnering system if you are looking for export support or international market advice, or catch the team at any of the UK@BIO events. Our team is on hand to support UK companies during BIO week, talk up the UK Life Sciences and inward investment offer, and can also provide support/advice on exporting and doing business in their local markets.

It can hold up to 12 people at a time. We are making the room available to help you win business! The website is targeted at the international audience. We will be handing out QR code business cards during BIO week to direct people to the website.

You can collect QR code cards to share with your network of contacts, pick up from the DIT team at the Sunday or Monday UK events. Help us spread the word about UK Life Sciences!

The website will include info on the UK Events during the week, the UK Delegation, the UK Biotech Asset List, and will feature a variety of quick guides and more in depth Marketing Materials on UK Life Sciences.
